Happy Humpday! (no more Jury Duty!!!)

Oh the freedom I am feeling today!

Not unlike the frisson I feel looking at this guys ass...ooh my teeth ache at it...

I got dismissed from jury duty ONLY because I happen to have a trip planned that precludes me from a single day of the court sessions.

I am staffing behind the scenes in the kitchens while other men attend to their own personal journeys during a men's weekend similar to the one I attended...

Thank goodness I had this trip scheduled!

Don't get me wrong, I think Jury Duty is both a duty and in some forms a privilege - other countries don't give their citizens the right to a trial by jury of peers - they get a religdiot judge panel or a corrupt judge doing whatever he darn well pleases.

Jury Duty is like these guys - it is a duty to get down with a good looking man and a privilege to have a carpet under you to avoid scrapes...

It's just that I wasn't really in the mood this time around to buckle down and focus on a 6 week trial. I am in a good mood, still high on life from the men's weekend I attended and this particular trial sounded like a real downer to be a part of.

Now if I had been asked to ponder the evidence presented by a hump like this one, I coulda gotten my interest level way high, if you get my drift...

I would have done it, and done it with the attention and focus it deserves because that is what I would want of my fellow citizens should I ever be on trial, but I am glad to have been relieved of having to do it this time around, the case was a violent one and I already been there, done that, a few years ago on a jury and have no urge to be that unsettled again anytime soon.

I hope you Humpday is a great one!

BTW pop over to David's and find out what shenanigans he and the Mistress have been getting up to! New York may never be the same! (and that's a good thing with a capital G!)

Jury Duty Monday!

So today, I have been summoned to jury duty!

The check in line wrapped into the lobby in a spiral...

there were a few men worth watching, not sure my candids did them justice...

I have served before, in 2005, on a kidnapping/assault/rape/attempted murder case. It was long and brutal. I hope if I serve again, it is something simple like a license violation :)

Fruitcake Friday!

Oh it is so nice out today!

The sun is shining, the birds are singing! I am in the mood for Fruitcake!

Such disturbingly good body paint

really mister fashion creator man? really?

I just don't see the good in finding this face fun

If they really dress like this it would be hard to take anyone from the islands seriously

Now this, I can get into. Lacey leathery fun clothes! This is where my heart is right now!

Happy Humpy Bumpday!

Oh the week is flying by!

I have hunky men in my house replacing my heater and air conditioner and crawling around in the attic replacing duct work.

Its sorta nice :)

They even don't seem to mind it when I casually flirt. (It could be they just know where their paycheck is coming from... Just sayin.).

I would show you pictures of my work men, but I am not quite forward enough to ask them and not quite sneaky enough to get decent candids.

I may try later though!

Until then, here are a gaggle of delightful Humps and a few Bumps to celebrate this fine Wednesday!

Now if showers in highschool were more like this I could have had much more fun...

The boots almost qualify these men for a Fruitcake posting instead...I mean seriously!

Speaking of boots...I strongly recommend the movie Kinky Boots starring Chjwetel Ejoifor, Joel Edgerton and Sarah-Jane Potts.

Way too much fun!

Morning Wood Monday!

Oh morning wood, my (nearly) life long friend!

Something I haven't  shared with many folks, but I went through this a couple years ago...

There was a time, when my meds and I didn't get along, and I found myself waking in the morning without my little friend.

In fact, my friend seemed to be mostly absent from my life.

Not knowing what to do I asked my doctor one day if this was part of being 40+ or what? My doc, another proud gay man, was concerned, you should have seen the look on his face!

He excalimed "Oh, no, I don't know what I would do without my morning friend! We need to find out whats going on with you immediately."

And he did - I haven't had a problem since. Apparently testosterone production can be inhibited by the combination of medicines necessary to suppress my HIV.

One of my favorite things in the morning is looking at my husband's ass as he sleeps next to me. It's damn hot.
He has some beautiful fur on his body and watching the light filter through it is enough to make my blood and hormones absolutely boil with need.

Now when I see my doc every few months he winks and asks "Is your friend still visiting you everyday?" and I laugh, because he really truly heard the fear under my question - and he responded the way we want certain men to respond - authoritatively, with the right action and with a successful result.

Laundry Day!

Oh my friends. It has been awhile since I have posted.

His washboard looks like what I need to scrub my genes on!

The men's retreat I attended was a powerful experience and all week since I have gotten back I have been on an energy high running around talking to folks and totally ignoring my computer with the exception of peeking in on the Mistress, Daan and David.

That Apollo's belt looks like it will work out some stains with me...

Suffice it to say that I am truly impacted in a way I did not anticipate from this men's weekend. I am not sure what I Was exactly expecting but I know that I got a ton out of it.

I could rub my whites up and down those ribs...

I got to sleep in a sleeping bag and get dusty and muddy and express myself and learn about myself and others and experience a lot of what it is to be a Man.    and and and

Will he help me wring it out?

I know that sounds a little cryptic - however -  to go into too much detail in my blog would not be appropriate. If you have questions though, feel free to shoot me a note.

Oh yeah, he looks like he has a pole for me to hang my laundry line on, doesn't he?

I have accomplished more emotionally in the last week, talking to my folks and to friends and my husband than I have otherwise in the last 5 years. At least.

My hope is that I will continue to bring this energy forward with me and start living life to its fullest once again.

Want to come along for the ride? There is definitely room for you in this car!

OMFG It's Furry Friday!

And it's about time! The heater is broken and our house is cold, cold, cold!

On the plus side, it means I got to make the hubby keep me warm all night - I may have mentioned that we often are too warm to sleep too close to each other lol...

I rounded up a few furry fellas to inspire hot thoughts and get the blood pumping. I should be much warmer in a few minutes and I hope you will be too!

I am off for the weekend to a men's retreat in Boulder Creek CA, near Santa Cruz. I hope to have an enlightening time!

World Animal Day!

According to my friend Daan  - a cutey-pie blogger who lives in the Netherlands, today is World Animal Day!

So of course, this means (from wikipedia) on this day, animal life in all its forms is celebrated, and special events are planned on locations all over the globe. 4 October was originally chosen for World Animal Day because it is the feast day of Francis of Assisi, a nature lover and patron saint of animals. Numerous churches throughout the world observe the Sunday closest to 4 October with a Blessing for the Animals.

Which I find hilarious since according toCatholic teachings animals have no souls so why would you bother to bless them? Go Figure. Religion isn't supposed to be logical, right?

Since it was started, it has grown past the xtian tie-in and is now celebrated by all sorts of folks all over the world.

Here in my world, where my views and opinions are what count, I have decided to put a fun twist on the event...

So let's get on with it! Let's celebrate animals!

Meow! I could tangle with this kitteh!

And I wouldn't mind taking this bull by the horns either.

Is he psychic or just thinking hard?

Why weren't cartoons this hot when I was a kid?

A Cougar I could get into...

See Madge? I told you Unicorns were real!

Thanks to the repeal of DADT even the bun-buns can come out now!

He looks like he is getting into the spirit - 2 more beers and the ttop might come off!

These two are taking it to an interesting and artistic extreme

Last but not least, a Wolfman...lol fer realz!

I hope your World Animal Day was as fun as mine!

Morning Wood Monday...

Oh Monday mornings, how do I love thee, let me count the ways

I love thee to the depth and breadth and height my soul can reach, when feeling out of sight for the ends of being and ideal grace.

I love thee to the level of every day's most quiet need, by sun and candle-light.

I love thee freely, as men strive for right.
I love thee purely, as they turn from praise.
I love thee with the passion put to use I my old griefs, and with my childhood's faith.

I love thee with a love I seemed to lose with my lost saints.

I love thee with the breath, smiles, tears, of all my life;
and, if God choose, I shall but love thee better after death.
