Celebrating Summer Solstice! Pt. 1
Summer Solstice - the longest day of the year in the Northern Hemisphere - it is the day when the Sun reachest its highest point in sky because the Earth's tilt on its axis is inclined the most towards the Sun.
Traditionally a day and night of celebrating occurs on Summer Solstice - parties and summer tree decorating in the daytime, bonfires in the evening, couples hand-fasting, sun worship rituals and lots of fun things like sex and drinking and fertility rites to encourage a big harvest - you know - stuff that people get up to when they want to have a good time :-) !
In observance of this wonderful holy day, I bring you a few pictures of men doin' what they oughtta on Summer Solstice - getting some Sun...
